Claim:

Does your hair love oils? Our “Sugar” Pomades are nourishing all-vegetable pomade and styling products named after the uniquely sweet, translucent, and fragrant quality of warm, homemade caramel. Similar in texture to an old school ‘hair grease,’ This blend of oils, butters, and veggie waxes acts as a humectant and protectant for hair, increasing shine to a high glossy sheen and locking in moisture. It’s packed with essential fatty acids to nourish scalp, and actually sinks into your hair and skin for a long-lasting, non-greasy feeling. It’s great for braids, imparts shine and moisture to loosehair, brushes nicely into the hairline for a glossy finish, and adds luster to locks! Contains virgin coconut cream, mango oil, and hempseed oil in a base of nourishing castor oil.

How I Use:

Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade is literally a multi use produce. I use this product for literally EVERYTHING. I use it to twist my hair, seal my hair, lay my edges down, baggy my hair and sometimes i even use it to moisturize my skin. I also use it to get those fly-aways under control.

Pros:

Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade is, in my opinion, the closest that you will get to a natural hair grease. Also I have “greased” my scalp with this before. It’s oil based and keeps your hair moisturized and sealed for days. As far as my edges, not only does it make it easy to seal them but all i have to do is put a scarf around my edges and a few hours later take it off. My edges are lay down effortlessly and i also don’t have to use gel. Oyin Burnt Sugar Pomade is a product that i recommend to everyone! I have no idea why i stopped using it to begin with. It also smells like desserts and cake batter. Every time i wear it, people tell me i smell like different things lol.

Cons:

In my personal opinion, I have not one complaint about this product but others may feel a little different. It’s scent is very strong but I personally LOVE strong sugary smells and its consistency is very thick. For fine hair, this product may not be the best option because it weighs your hair down but I know I need all the weight I can get
