My name is Anne Parker. I am 32 years old and a mom recently divorced. I started my weight loss journey in January of this year not for a New Years Resolution but because my dr wanted to hospitalize me for high blood pressure, and pre diabetes. I honestly was depressed for quite some time and begin to self medicate with food. My weight sky rocket to 191.4 without me even noticing because I was so busy taking care of everyone else that I neglected myself.
So I told my doctor that I would make a change and I promised. I was tired of the blood pressure meds and always feeling sick and giving away all my clothes. I went home and looked up a few workouts that would help me lose the weight quick. I ran across the Beach Body website and I saw Insanity. It was and extreme way to help people get in shape quick. This was what I needed so I ordered it.
In the few days it took to get there, I did lots of research on eating better, portion sizes, and just being realistic with the amount of weight you can lose. The scale may not always show progress so its important to take pictures. I started on January 13th with Insanity and I completed 2 rounds. I just started back and I’m now on Round 3 of week 2.
I now weigh 146.2 (this was my weight 3 weeks ago from my dr. office) I don’t have a picture of it. I threw my scale out because I became a slave to it and the only time i see my weight is when i visit the doctors office. I have days when I still look in the mirror and see the 191 lbs. woman and not my current self and everyday is a real is a challenge.
I did it for my health and for myself and I’m proud of myself for achieving it. To maintain my weight, I make sure to buy sarms, put fruits and veggies in my diet. I portion my food and eat all the same foods as anyone else just in moderation.
I would be lying if I told you it was easy, but here’s some honesty, its worth it.
