Trend Alert: Light Denim Tops

In the last few days, I swear I have seen 10 chicks wearing light denim shirts! I immediately tweeted about it and was informed that it is actually a new trend and that light denim shirts are in a lot of stores right now. I missed that fashion memo!

I love this trend! Two girls had the exact same light denim shirt but wore them in different ways. One went for a little more of a dressed up look with lace shorts and booties. The other went very casual, “Urban Outfitters” feel with her look and wore a navy/white striped shirt, red denim cutoffs and low top Chuck Taylors.

I am definitely going to join in on this trend. Next retail therapy session, I am looking for a light denim shirt! *makes mental note*

What do you think of this trend? Are you in or out?

  1. Yes! I’m in love with my light demin button shirt. Not only because it’s trendy but I scored mine at Target around November/December on clearance for $8.99. There were only two left and I had to have it. I recently wore mine for Easter with a Coral pant from H&M and Taupe flats, a score from Filene’s Basement on there closing. I’m a bargain shopper TOO THE FULLEST! 🙂

  2. Target had them for $8!?! I mustve overlooked them! Im mad! Im in Target too much to be missing out on deals like that! Lol

I love a good bargain too! And it sounds like you made a great look for less! Thumbs up to you!

  3. I think I may just join in. I think I will try the shirt since short shorts are not allowed at work and that’s where I spend most my time.

  4. I believe what you posted made a great deal of sense.
However, what about this? what if you typed a catchier post title?
I am not suggesting your content is not solid, but what if
you added a title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean Trend Alert: Light Denim Tops is a little vanilla.
You could look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they create post headlines to get people interested.

You might add a related video or a picture or two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it might bring your posts a little bit more interesting.
