For the longest time, I was one of those people who had a low maintenance skincare regimen – meaning I did not pay much attention to the condition of my skin as I should. As of recently, I have noticed my skins needs have changed as my daily routine changes – working out more, wearing more makeup, etc. Thankfully Paula’s Choice Skin Care offered to give me a consultation, which assessed my needs and suggested the right products for my concerns.
Paula’s Choice is committed to customer advocacy, education and helping people find the best products for their skin – everyone can receive a FREE personal skincare consultation by calling 1-800-831-4088.
I have been using these products for the past few weeks now and I can definitely see a difference! My skin is less oily, I’m noticing less breakouts, my pores are no longer enlarged, and my blemishes are fading!
Here is my updated skincare routine:
First up, I start by cleansing my face with the using their Resist Perfectly Balanced Cleanser, which is targeted for normal to oily blemish-prone skin. This foaming cleanser remove excess oil and makeup while protecting it with repairing ingredients like ceramides and hyaluronic acid. Instead, I’m left feeling clean, refreshed and balanced. I can use this cleanser both in the morning before I apply my makeup and evening to help remove it. It leaves my skin feeling clean, fresh, and hydrated.
After cleansing, I follow up with the Resist Weightless Advanced Repairing Toner. This gentile, lightweight toner makes my skin feel baby soft, reduces any redness, helps to even my skin tone, and reduces my pores. A good toner is essential to any routine!
I use the Resist Daily Pore-Refining Treatment With 2% BHA to exfoliate daily. Exfoliating helps to smooth fine lines, even skin tone, unclog and minimize pores, and bumps. This exfoliant is great for my sensitive skin since it is non-irritating and can be used daily. After a few weeks of use I can definitely say I notice my skin tone is more even and even has more of a natural glow!
I was also given the Resist Weekly Retexturizing Foaming Treatment 4% BHA to use weekly. After cleansing and toning, I apply this foam and leave it overnight. It reduce redness, calms any inflammation, unclogs pores, and uses salicylic acid to promote firmer, smoother, more radiant skin.
I was given two treatments to use – the Resist Ultra-Light Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum and the Resist 25% Vitamin C Spot Treatment. The serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly into my skin, helping my skin appear and feel softer and smoother. The spot treatment reduces dark spots, sun damage and discolorations from old acne scars.
I’m loving both of the moisturizers I picked out from the brand. The Resist Anti-Aging Clear Skin Hydrator is a silky moisturizer that leaves my skin feeling refreshed, hydrated, and non-greasy. It is perfect under makeup because it has a matte finish, which keeps my oily skin at bay. I also love this product at night to reduce oil production in my t-zone as I sleep.
The Resist Youth-Extending Daily Mattifying Fluid SPF 50 has Broad Spectrum SPF 50 which protects and hydrates skin. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and dewy, and works well underneath my foundation.
I am definitely enjoying my new Paula’s Choice skin care routine to control acne, reduce blemishes, and protect my skin. My friends and family are already noticing a difference with my appearance and have complimented my skin much more now that I have a solid routine.
